- 服務於香港明愛卅二年，主要從事青少年服務，經歷了很多服務模式及範式轉變，深感青少年服務不宜聚焦於社會問題，更宜發展他們的創意、理性而獨立思考、公民意識、關愛家庭與社會的多元能力；
- 在服務機構內推動青少年關心社會的服務，深刻體會到青少年、一般市民對社會事務的冷漠或少數人極端的觀念、傾斜的政治影響力、被剝奪的民主發展，作為社工，須參與具熱心的社群予以推動改革，各盡棉力，故加入民福60；
- 香港社會福利事業的前境頗為暗淡，缺乏願景和規劃，整筆撥款制度製造矛盾，作為社工，須義無反顧地參與改善的集體努力；
- 從2002年起參與香港中文大學社會工作系畢業同學會為幹事，歷任數屆秘書、司庫職務，亦是多年學長計劃的學長。
- I practise youth services at Caritas – Hong Kong for thirty two years with the experience in numerous service modes and paradigm shifts. Advocate the shift of the present focus of youth service from social problem oriented to youth development in the area of creativity, rationality with critical thinking, civic awareness as well as love and concern on family and our society as a whole;
- I promote social participation service among youth at my Agency. Have an intense experience on the apathetic attitude prevails among youth and most average citizens or minority gets some extreme values. Political power is partial to contending parties as democracy is well deprived. Being a social worker, one has to join people with passion and energy to improve, I thence join Demosocail 60;
- The waning future of social welfare development in Hong Kong is featured with the lacking of vision and planning as well as the contradiction plagued lump sum grant system. As a social worker, one should join the collective effort to improve without hesitation;
- I have been the member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese University Social Work Alumni Association with the designations as Secretary and Treasurer respectively since 2002 and also a mentor of the Mentee-Mentor Scheme.
