作為香港聾人協進會主席，我致力爭取在香港落實國際殘疾人權利公約；消除社會人士對殘疾人士的偏見和歧視；推動殘疾人士觀點主流化；要求政府在制定政策及在建築及交通規劃上落實無障礙措施；推動殘疾人士的公平教育、就業及社會參與；關注殘疾人士及弱勢社群的權益；及推動民主、自由、人權、法治的發展。

As the Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of the Deaf, I call for the implementation of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; and the elimination of prejudice and discrimination against people with disabilities. I advocate for the mainstreaming of disabilities in government and public policy making and universal barrier free designs in building and construction as well as in transportation. I am also concerned with the promotion of equal opportunities in education, employment and social inclusion of people with disabilities and for the protection of the rights and benefits of the disadvantaged people so that Hong Kong can develop in the right direction of democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law.
