徐永德博士，現職香港大學社會工作及社會行政學系副教授，曾任前線社區工作員及任教城市大學社工文憑課程，積極支持和推動民主和公民教育。88-92年任「社工總工會」幹事。2008年當選行政長官選舉委員會委員, 2010年當選社會工作者註冊局成員。關注老人福利、貧窮、新移民、房屋和市區重建等問題。希望來屆特首及特區政府關注長者福利、投放資源、重整服務模式、加強家居社區照顧服務，同時亦要推動社區服務促進鄰里互助共融。

Dr Ernest Chui is Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work & Social Administration of The University of Hong Kong. He had previously taught in the City University of Hong Kong and been a frontline community worker. He supports the promotion of democracy and civic education. He had been an executive committee member of the HK Social Workers General Union in 1988-92, is currently an elected member of the HK SAR Government Chief Executive Election Committee member, and elected Board Member of the HK Social Workers Registration Board. He is concerned about elderly welfare, poverty, housing, and urban renewal. He would expect the coming Chief Executive and SAR Government to put emphasis on elderly welfare, deploy more resources, reengineer the service delivery mode, improve home and community care, and promote social services that foster neighbourhood mutual help, community and social inclusion.
