我來自一個基層家庭。我對人權和社會正義的信念，與社會工作核心價值不謀而合。我以一個專業社工及社工老師為榮。過去十八年，我以培訓有反省能力，全心全意為弱勢社群服務及爭取權益的前線社工為己任。

貧病交煎，是許多老人、弱能及長期病患者面對的困局。市民健康的懸殊、往往由貧窮、社會排斥和不公平的醫療政策等社會因素所導致。因此，我多年來積極参與香港的醫療改革研究。透過與社福機構和醫院三方協作，我致力推動以社區為本、醫社整合的基層健康促進計劃、以提升老人、長期病患及少數族裔人士的生活質素。

我們需要一個有遠見、對香港有承担和有決心改善市民生活的領導人，而不是空洞的選舉承諾。

I came from a grassroots family. I take pride to be a professional social worker and a social work educator. My beliefs in human rights and social justice coincide with the core values of social work. It has always be my mission, in the past 18 years, to train dedicated and reflective front-line social workers who do not hesitate to serve and to defense the rights of the vulnerable groups in Hong Kong.

Poverty and poor health is intertwined for many elderly and persons with chronic illness/disabilities in Hong Kong. Social workers have a role to play in addressing the social determinants of health, including poverty, social exclusion and inequitable health care policies. I have participated actively in health care reform since 1997 through government consultancy and research studies. In partnership with welfare agencies and hospitals, I advocated community-based health promotion programs to enhance the quality of life for elderly, persons with chronic illness, and racial minorities.

We need a Chief Executive who has the passion and commitment to improve the livelihood of Hong Kong people. We don’t need hollow campaign promises, but a Chief Executive who has the determination to turn visions into actions!
